Our first walk of 2012, at the very atmospheric Rimac near Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe in Lincolnshire. This is where we used to come and pick samphire as kids and where I once found and held in my hands a natterjack toad….. ahhhh memories…….

Edwyn and I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!

Thanks to all our customers old and new for making this the best year yet, we’ve really enjoyed meeting many of you and your four legged friends and hope to see you again next year at one of our markets or fairs.

We’re back at Spitalfields on the 6th January after a much need break….. And now we’re off to Bath to spend Christmas with family and enjoy some long country walks and the warmth of a good local pub!

New EdwynUK Doorstops this week at Spitalfields

Last week our doorstops were flying off our Spitalfields stall, so I’ve been busy making more for those last minute Christmas shoppers…. along with some more draught excluders, two of which have been reserved already…..

So for those of you who like to leave things last minute (and judging by the last 2 years, there are plenty of you – mainly male it has to be said ) we’ll be at Spitalfields Weds, Thursday and Friday. It’s all very Christmasy down there with mulled wine, mince pies and Montezuma wandering around with chocolate to sample! A very pleasant and less frantic area to shop or feast ……

Last Minute Christmas Shopping & an Edwyn Snow Video

This weekend is the last chance for UK customers to shop from our online Etsy store and have their goodies delivered in time for Christmas. Orders need to be placed before 9am Monday morning.

For those of you in London, we will be at Spitalfields Traders Market on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, perfect for any last minute doggie inspired gifts! We have more to choose from on our stall than we manage to list on the Etsy shop. There will be more draught excluders, as they were flying out with the cold weather last week, plus we have some very sweet zip pouches and a great range of tote and dog walking bags, oh and doorstops too…

And if you’re all done with Christmas shopping and are sitting back and enjoying the run up to Christmas with your four legged friends, get in the mood for a white Christmas with one of my favourite video’s of Edwyn in the snow a couple of years back…..

Now I know for some of you it’s a bit early to be thinking about Christmas, BUT we have fans all over the world, and if any of you lovely people want to give EdwynUK gifts for Christmas, then do make a note of the LAST posting dates listed below.

Now these are the last POSTING dates, so you will need to order at least one day before to get you parcel in time, and if you remember last years snow chaos (it still stumps UK postal services sad to say…) you may be best advised to order as early as you can to avoid disappointment and stress…..

Give a Dog An EdwynUK Bone

After many requests for dog toys we’re pleased to tell you that we’re making a limited edition wool squeaker dog toy – a scaled down version of our bone pillow. We’ll be making them in a variety of fabric combinations and think they’ll make a great stocking filler for your favourite four legged friend!

Dogs Welcome – Cinema Screening for You and Your Dog!

Now call me crazy but I was actually wondering to myself just the other day how would it be to have a dog friendly cinema – well, this coming weekend I’ll be able to find out!
A community project in Victoria park and the Chisenhale Gallery is holding a public film screening for Dogs and Humans this Saturday 19th November. I found this out through the lovely Louise her blog for her company The Darling Dog Company

These are the details:

Chisenhale Gallery’s first artist-in-residence in Victoria Park, Matthew Noel-Tod, invites you to a day of film screenings for dogs and humans held in Victoria Park and at Chisenhale Gallery. Dogs welcome at both events.

2pm, Victoria Park, entrance Crown Gate West, near the Pavilion Café

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (cert: U), Duwayne Dunham,
81 mins (1993)
Disney’s remake of the live-action film The Incredible Journey. Starring a voiceover from Michael J. Fox. Two dogs and a cat find their way home. Great fun for kids and adults.

Around the Park, William Wegman, 7 mins (2007)
Around the Park was a public art project commissioned by the Madison Square Park Conservency in New York in autumn 2007. The video stars artist William Wegman’s canine cast of Weimaraners enjoying an Autumn day in the park.
